Basic timeline
Here is the basic timeline I’ve written for the Concept and Roleplay. Subject to be edited and changed, but the general consensus is here.
Genesis
2025 - protests against the American Government’s new policies begin.
Policies such as restrictions of freedom, mass surveillance, increased taxes. The things that make it look like the government is going dictatorship.
2029 - Large group of protesters gather in the west coast, convincing states to come to their side., before moving slightly outward.
2035 - after many legal battles and protests, 7 US states cecede, including California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and with force Texas. The Peoples Freedomist Union is formed. America becomes the True American Division.
2037 - now set as a real nation, many TAD citizens notice the government’s bad doings, begin to migrate to the PFU.
War
2040, August to November - After large disagreement on many levels, PFU begins low scale attacks on neighboring states. After being found out, TAD goes into vote on declaring war. NEEDS REVISION
2040, December 1st - The War on Scededed America begins. NEEDS REVISION
2042 - Not expecting resistance, many of the PFU’s military units are highly trained soldiers, Patriotic to the old ways. PFU also housed many large war factories during the succession. NEEDS REVISION
2047 - The TAD is being badly beaten by the PFU, When the President is approached by Vincent Rathek. Rathek brought with him Raiths, a rather unheard of Private Military Company, mercenaries. About to be taken off of the site, Rathek shows the president the true Might of his group. A squad of six moves into a large PFU war prison. Within 24 hours the prison is liberated, the imprisioned soldiers let free. Ever PFU inside was found dead. The Six were barely scratched. Now trusting him fully, The President give Vincent full authority on the war-front, using his Wraiths to secure the battlefield. NEEDS REVISION
2049 - Within two years the PFU is a broken country, and begins facing defeat at the hands of the Rathek Organization. NEEDS REVISION
Aftermath
2050 - PFU surrenders and is absorbed back into TAD, Now the American Legacy. Rathek is head of the military, units controlling every branch of the military.
2055 - After five years of peacetime, All seems normal, like before the protests. But inside, Nothing is what it seems.
Tech
2060 - the scientific breakthrough of Augmentations if finally released. Full body augmentation, Nanomachine Regulator Organ implnants and the like hit the market.
2064 - the Government places extensive Regulations on the production of Augs, only allowing the first company to legally manufacture all Aug's. Not that this stops black market dealers.
2065 - The Augmented Church of God rises to power. Glorifying Aug's as a gift from god, this massively growing religion attacks the government for “restricting God’s gift for the next step in our legacy” Through protests and general legal attacks.
2066 - Construction on the Home Church of Augmented begins production offsite of America. It is unknown what the inside is like, as no one is let in except top members and proven believers through unknown tasks. The outside is an obelisk structure, reaching extremely high and sitting in an artificial canyon on it’s own island.
2067 - Military testing begins in secrecy for Aug’s.
2070 - a semi private school system starts up in several states. The most advanced school in the world, allowing the best knowledge, and the most custom teaching ways, set by the students. They leave their families at 14, and stay well into college and even afterwards. The few schools are the size of cities, walled off from the outside world. the only catch it that all students must contribute to the New Military in some way. Not always combat, but all forms. Of help. It is possible to get in without paying, by helping massive community service programs for the city school.
2094- Start of Novel/RP
