Factions
There is multiple factions that play a part in this RP. I will briefly explain the laws and ideologies of the factions.
Denizens
The default faction of the RP. Normal citizens, both legal and less so, making it through. Whether supporters of the TAD or PFU Remnant, Explorers of Exclusion areas. Make their own choices, do their own thing.
Insurgent
Remnant of fighting PFU forces, whose purpose is to make the lives of Militants and government officials living hell. With backwater installations and slums hideouts, these soldiers use somewhat guerilla tactics, choosing quick destabilize and destructive tactics to obtain their goals, with dreams of regaining their freedom.
An Insurgent character plays much like a HL2 Rebel in some cases, Avoiding direct contact for any longer than a few moments.
Militant
The Operating Police, Military, and governing officials in the world. Each division with it’s own ranks and powers, these soldiers work to keep the Denizens calm and under control, as well as fight Insurgents. They all take orders from Wraiths, the Elite PMC Soldiers of the world, High up in the TAD hierarchy.
Different ranks of Militants specialize in different things. Police squads, military squads, and the governing leaders all have their own areas of expertise.
Wraith
The Ultimate Elite, Private Military Company in charge of the TAD’s military and government. What few members it actually has make up for the small size in sheer power, constantly stretching the limits of humanity, both with and without technology.
Wraiths are insanely rare to see in groups, and as such RP wise there will only be maybe Two to Three. You could compare them to the strength of Monolith, in that they are fierce and monstrous soldiers. I would prefer to lead the faction myself, but yee.
Trader’s and Technicians
The people who sell equipment and armaments, and the suprisingly smart engineers who create Augmentations and other advanced Tech. Whether they operate legally or not, they are the people you rely on to get what you need.
Traders act like normal traders, They get shipments and sell things, Officially or black market. Techs on the other hand specialize in creating, modifying, and repurposing Technology, with an emphasis on Augmentation.
Zealot
Members of the reigning Dominant religion, believing that Augmentations and Tech are sacred, and as a result constantly pushing their bodies to the unhealthy, low mental states of immense augmentation. Little is known of the inside workings, but one thing is for sure. They have quite the following.
Zealots, being one of the major religions of the world, would be an odd sight. People in this faction aren’t the only followers, Anyone can believe in this. But Zealots go all in, turning themselves into amalgamations of Technology. By the point in RP seeing them is an uncommon thing. They could be compared to the Monolith’s faith, unhaltered in doing everything possible for it, even sacrificing themselves.
